- Editing Objects Using CA-Cricket Draw III

- There are three ways you can export graph objects for editing in CA-Cricket Draw III:
-
- • You can cut or copy objects in a graph window and paste them directly into a CA-Cricket Draw III document (see the procedure below).

- • You can use the Save command in the File menu to save a copy of a graph document in CA-Cricket Draw III format.

- • If you are using System 7, you can publish CA-Cricket Graph III objects as CA-Cricket Draw III objects.

- Pasting Graph Window Objects Into CA-Cricket Draw III

- Option-cutting and Option-copying allow you to place CA-Cricket Graph III objects on the Clipboard in CA-Cricket Draw III format.

- If you don’t use the Option key when you cut and copy, objects are placed as PICTs instead of CA-Cricket Draw III objects.

- Step 1
- Select one or more objects in a graph window.

- Step 2
- Do one of the following:

- • Press Option-Cmd-C to copy the objects to the Clipboard.

- • Press Option-Cmd-X to remove the selected objects from the graph window and place them on the Clipboard.

- Step 3
- Start the CA-Cricket Draw III application and open a new or existing CA-Cricket Draw III document.

- Step 4
- Choose Paste (Cmd-V) from the Edit menu to paste the cut or copied objects in the CA-Cricket Draw III document.

- Step 5
- Edit the pasted objects as you do any other objects in a CA-Cricket Draw III document.
